Jane P. Garrett, a shareholder of Blake, Kirchner, Symonds, Larson, Kennedy & Smith, P.C., specializes in a range of litigation matters, including:

- Civil rights defense;
- Employment law.
Ms. Garrett received her bachelor's degree from Michigan State University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and her law degree from the University of Detroit. She was the first woman elected Editor-in-Chief of the University of Detroit Journal of Urban Law.
A member of the American and Metropolitan Detroit Bar Associations, Ms. Garrett has presented seminars for the American Arbitration Association and programs on medicine and the law for staff of the Detroit Medical Center, St. John Health System and Sparrow Hospital.
