John A. O'Brien is a Partner with Blake, Kirchner having joined the Firm in February 2009.  John is a member of the Firm's Workers' Compensation Group. While he concentrates his practice primarily in the area of workers' compensation litigation, he is also involved in third-party litigation and matters involving no-fault claims.

Mr. O'Brien represents a variety of self-insured, workers' compensation funds, including the Metalworking Industries of Michigan Workers' Compensation Self-Insured Fund, the Lumberman's Fund, the Michigan Horticulture Industries Workers' Compensation Fund, as well as a variety of credit unions and insurance companies.
